Tell us about your role:
My role at JTG allows me to serve our customers by stepping in wherever they need me at that moment to achieve success. From the point of specimen collection until the clinical team has results in hand, I can share my experience in these areas and tackle complex problems, keeping the end user's and patient's experience in mind. My operational leadership background also allows me to offer solutions based on quality, efficiency, and budgetary metrics. It’s important to consider how each hospital system and workflow contributes to the overall picture of success. Having experience in different laboratory roles and hospital applications has helped me see that picture in greater detail so I can help create simpler solutions to the complex workflows we experience in healthcare.
I’m particularly passionate about implementing and utilizing change management programs, as well as consistent education and training tools that empower everyone to do their best work. Some notable past projects I have enjoyed include laboratory relocations, implementation of change management workflows, and implementing Epic Beaker for a multi-hospital system.
